The Dimplex Plug-in Outdoor/Indoor Infrared Wallmounted Electric Heater will quickly heat up any space with its 1500 watts of power. Plus, its Schott Nextrema ceramic tinted glass gives this heater a modern look that will complement any décor. The heater comes with the element pre-installed, which eases installation and reduces the risk of damaged, broken, or misplaced elements upon delivery.

The heater plugs into a standard 120V outlet and can run for up to 5000 hours.  Schott Nextrema® glass combines high-temperature, thermal shock, and chemical resistance, excellent infrared transmission, non-porous surface, attractive design, and the Weather-proof Construction Meets IP65 rating. Just Plug It Into a standard 120V outlet with a 7 ft. cord with a grounded plug, The Ruby halogen bulb provides full power in under 6 seconds.

It can heat up to 79 5/8 sq ft. outdoors and up to 112 sq ft. indoors. Mounting height is 72" Min. or 118" Max. from the Floor (recommended). Please note that the coverage area will vary depending on various conditions such as wind, temperature, and mounting height. The heater comes with a programmable timer that will automatically place the heater in standby mode after a predetermined amount of time in intervals of one hour (1-13 hours). The remote has buttons for 1, 2, 4, and 6 hours. There is a built-in safety feature that will automatically set the heater to go into standby mode after eight hours of continuous operation unless the timer is activated. The distance between the heater and the remote control should be less than 10 feet and the remote control must be pointed directly toward the heater. For more information about timer setup please refer to the product manual in the downloads section.

It is recommended that when the heater is installed outdoors it is positioned where it is protected from extreme weather conditions like rain snow and ice

It is best that the distance between the heater and the remote be less than 3 m (9.8 ft.), and the remote control must be pointed directly to the receiver on the front panel during the operation.
