With built-in electric fireplaces, you can enjoy a traditional fireplace's warmth and visual appeal without the hassle of fuel storage, wood burning, and venting. They are the perfect solution for modern homes seeking both comfort and convenience.

Our built-in electric fireplace selections are designed for seamless integration into your home, with no venting or gas lines needed. They also don’t need fireproofing and can be framed into drywalls. Some models can even be installed in 2”x4” walls

Say goodbye to complex installations and hello to instant ambiance. With just a remote control, you can change flame colors, make flame height adjustments, control heat output, and more to create the perfect atmosphere for any mood and occasion.

Modern or Traditional Look to Suit Your Needs

There are two styles of built-in/recessed electric fireplaces: linear recessed electric fireplaces and recessed electric fireplace inserts. Linear electric fireplaces have long facades, perfect for modern interiors. Fireplace inserts feature classic fireplace proportions, which are ideal for those looking for a traditional look.

Whether you are looking for a built-in electric fireplace to create a focal point for your contemporary-style room or an electric firebox for your masonry-style interior, we have the electric fireplace to complement your space.

How do you install a recessed electric fireplace?

Both types of built-in fireplaces, linear and inserts, can be installed into any wall including drywall as well as cabinetry. Basic steps to install a recessed electric fireplace:

  1. Create an opening in the wall.
  2. Rough in the framing opening following the recommended framing dimensions.
  3. Hardwire it in (licensed electrician).
  4. Place the fireplace into the framed opening.
  5. Attach the fireplace to the frame.
  6. Install the decor and front glass and/or frame.

Most recessed electric fireplaces come with a cord to plug them in and an option to hardwire them. Some models are hardwired only. Hardwiring is a preferred method of installation.

We recommend hiring a licensed electrician to properly install your recessed electric fireplace.

All wiring needs to be done before installing the fireplace.
