Fire Magic calls the Aurora power burner its largest, most powerful side cooker. Two burners combine for up to 60,000 BTU: the outer burner reaches 45,000 BTU on the larger right knob, and the inner burner runs from 3,000 to 15,000 BTU on the left knob for low simmering. A 10" heat-concentrating flame collimator focuses heat in the center 25% of the unit for wok cooking, turkey frying and anything that needs up to 190 BTU per square inch.

Stainless or Porcelain Cast Iron Grid

Choose the 19-7B1 with a stainless steel cooking grid or the 19-7B2 with a porcelain cast iron grid, in natural gas or propane. For stir fry, lift the grid off and set a wok like the Fire Magic 14-Inch Wok directly on the burner. A removable stainless steel lid covers the burner when it is off.

Powered From Your Aurora Grill

Fire Magic designs the power burner to plug into an Aurora grill's power supply, so it does not need its own outlet. Fire Magic also offers an optional independent power supply.

Installation

The non-combustible cut-out is 19" wide, 18 3/4" deep and 11 1/2" from countertop to unit bottom. In a combustible island, Fire Magic requires the 3278-52 insulating liner, available on our Fire Magic Insulating Liner page. Where a vent hood is needed, Fire Magic lists the 36-VH-7 as the minimum size.
