Most of this collection is mantel packages. The mantel and surround carry the white finish and the firebox behind the glass stays black, which is what the flame reads against. A smaller number are units finished in white themselves, where the visible body of a wall mounted or freestanding fireplace is the white part.

The distinction matters when the fireplace is off, which is most of the time. Look at the product photos unlit, because that is the state the finish is actually working in.

Format narrows the list faster than colour

A mantel package is a complete piece that stands against a finished wall and needs no construction at all.

A wall mounted unit hangs on the surface or recesses into framing, which is the route to a flush, built-in look.

A freestanding unit needs no wall, and it can move to another room later.

If none of these fit, build the white part separately

A white fireplace does not have to arrive as one product. The firebox and the surround are usually separate purchases, so a dark firebox set into a white mantel gives you the same result and a far wider choice than the finished packages alone.

Heat, and a TV above

These give supplemental heat, enough to take the edge off the room they face rather than to warm a house. The heater is independent of the flame, so the fireplace runs as a visual feature year round.
