Description

Turn the Amantii TRU-VIEW Cube into a Freestanding Fireplace

This is Amantii's leg base for the Amantii TRU-VIEW Cube electric fireplace. The Cube ships as a wall-mount fireplace. Set it on this base and it stands on its own, on a floor or a sturdy surface, with no holes in the wall. The base matches the Cube's 19 5/8-inch width and adds about 7 1/4 inches of height.

It Attaches with the Cube's Own Adjustable Feet

Amantii's manual sets out three steps: screw the legs to the base's steel panel, unscrew the adjustable feet from the bottom of the Cube, then set the Cube on the base and screw the feet back in through it, which locks the two together. The steps are on page 8 of the Cube manual linked on this page.

Indoors Only: Outdoor Cubes Must Be Wall Mounted

Amantii approves the Cube for covered outdoor spaces only as a wall mount. The leg base, and the speaker base Amantii also makes, are not approved for outdoor use. If the Cube is going on a patio, skip the base and hang it.

Best for Rooms Where You Would Rather Not Drill

The base suits renters, rooms with tile or stone walls that are hard to drill, and anyone who wants to move the fireplace between rooms. Wall mounting saves floor space; the base saves the wall.

Plan the Outlet and the Clearance

Power: the Cube's cord exits on the left side and is about 70 7/8 inches long, so place it within reach of an outlet on that side.
Clearance: Amantii asks for at least 3 feet between the Cube and curtains, furniture or bedding, so leave room around it wherever it stands.

The Amantii TRU-VIEW Cube (CUBE-2025WM), including the current Cube Lumina. It is made for that fireplace only and matches its 19 5/8-inch width.

Can I use the Cube on its base outdoors?

No. Amantii approves the Cube outdoors only as a wall mount, in a space protected from rain. The leg base is for indoor use.

How tall is the Cube when it sits on the base?

About 32 1/2 inches. The Cube is about 25 1/4 inches tall and the base adds about 7 1/4 inches.

How does the base attach to the Cube?

Through the Cube's adjustable feet. Screw the legs to the base's steel panel, unscrew the feet from the bottom of the Cube, set the Cube on the base, and screw the feet back in through it to lock them together.

Does this base have a speaker in it?

No. This is the leg base. Amantii also makes a taller speaker base for the Cube, a separate product with its own power connection.
