A Traditional Fireplace Look Without Gas or Venting

The Dimplex Revillusion 36-Inch is a built-in electric firebox that delivers the appearance of a traditional fireplace using electric heat and advanced flame technology.

Designed to replicate the depth and character of a wood-burning firebox, Revillusion features life-size hardwood-cast logs, natural soot markings, and a visible back panel that enhances realism. Choose between herringbone brick or weathered concrete interiors to better match your design style.

Flames appear larger, brighter, and more randomized, rising from within the logs rather than behind them. A partially frosted acrylic panel reduces reflections so you see flames clearly, adding depth that feels more like a true masonry fireplace.

Installation Options

The Revillusion 36-Inch is designed for built-in framing applications. Simply frame, wire, and finish. No venting, gas lines, or safety screens are required.

The unit can be plugged in using the included plug kit or direct-wired to a 120/208/240-volt circuit. A 240-volt supply allows operation up to 8,800 BTUs. The firebox can operate with or without heat for year-round use.

Controls & Features

Customize the firebox glow with warm hues or select midnight mode for a darker presentation. The flame base color can be adjusted to red or blue, and brightness levels can be fine-tuned for daytime or evening visibility.

The fan-forced ceramic heater distributes warmth up to 1,000 sq ft. Flames can operate independently from the heater, allowing visual ambiance without heat. A sleep timer (30 minutes to 8 hours) adds convenience and energy control.

Glass Door Kit adds a refined, traditional finishing touch while maintaining a clear view of the flames, and additional Revillusion Log Sets offer enhanced detail and ember effects for even greater depth and realism, allowing you to further personalize your fireplace presentation.
