The Superior DRT3500 Series Direct Vent Gas Fireplace is an indoor LP or natural gas fireplace designed for direct vent installation, featuring electronic ignition, interior lighting, and integrated comfort controls.
Designed for Style and Customization
Available in 35", 40", and 45" models, the DRT3500 Series fits a variety of room sizes while maintaining a mid-size 17" depth to help conserve floor space. A required façade selection includes either a Vista inside fit or a decorative overlap fit option, each equipped with a protective screen barrier.
Interior finish selections are also required, with choices including black reflective porcelain or ceramic fiber liners. These combinations allow you to tailor the final appearance to match your space.
Enhanced Comfort and Control
Standard electronic IPI/CPI ignition includes seamless battery backup, allowing continued operation during power interruptions. Ceramic glass improves heat transfer, while a factory-installed variable-speed blower helps distribute warmth evenly throughout the room.
Interior illumination offers six lighting settings, and the included full-function remote provides control of ignition mode, thermostat, flame height, blower speed, and lighting adjustments.
Installation Options
The DRT3500 Series supports a combination top or rear flue configuration for flexible venting layouts. As a sealed direct vent system, it draws combustion air from outside and vents exhaust outdoors, helping maintain indoor air quality.
With a 17" depth, the unit is designed to reduce its footprint compared to deeper models. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper vent routing, gas connection, and compliance with local codes and manufacturer guidelines.

This series includes electronic ignition with a standard IPI/CPI switch and integrated battery backup. The ceramic glass viewing area enhances heat transfer, while high-definition ceramic fiber logs and glowing embers create a detailed flame presentation.
A factory-installed blower features six speed settings for adjustable airflow. The included remote allows control over thermostat settings, flame height, lighting modes, blower speed, and ignition functions from a single device.
