The SimpliFire Scion is a recessed electric fireplace with smart WiFi control, crackling sound effects, included log and crystal media, and up to 10,000 BTUs when hardwired to 240V.

The Scion is built for homeowners who want a streamlined electric fireplace with a modern, recessed appearance. Its linear design helps create a clean focal point in living rooms, bedrooms, media walls, and remodels.
Included clear crystals, black glass embers, and driftwood logs give customers multiple ways to style the ember bed. This makes the fireplace flexible for both contemporary and more natural room designs.
Customizable Flame, Sound, and Ambiance
Nine flame color options allow the display to match the room’s design, lighting, or mood. The two authentic fire sound effects add another layer of realism without requiring gas, venting, or wood.
The Scion also includes standard WiFi control through the SmartLife app, a multi-function remote, and hidden fireplace controls for a cleaner front view.
Installation Options
The SimpliFire Scion is designed for recessed installation. It can be built into a framed wall opening for a flush, finished appearance.
This electric fireplace does not require gas lines, venting, or chimney access. It can operate on 120V power for 5,000 BTUs of heat or be hardwired to 240V for 10,000 BTUs of heat.
Installation should follow the manufacturer’s framing, electrical, clearance, and finishing requirements. A licensed electrician is recommended for 240V hardwire installation.
Controls & Features
The Scion includes standard WiFi control through the SmartLife app, allowing fireplace operation from a compatible smart device. It also includes a multi-function remote and hidden onboard controls for direct operation.
The flame display offers nine flame colors and can be paired with the included black glass embers, small clear crystals, large clear crystals, or driftwood log set. Two fire sound effects add optional crackling ambiance.
For heating, the fireplace provides 5,000 BTUs on 120V power and up to 10,000 BTUs when hardwired to 240V.
