Does it feel like the heat is spread unevenly in your patio, making some areas unpleasant to stay in? Dimplex DIR Series electric heater is a modern and low profile wall or ceiling mounted heater that's great for heating any space, indoors or outdoors. This black infrared heater comes as a complete package with mounting brackets and a handheld remote to conveniently control the heater.
Equipped with Schott Nextrema® glass, you can be sure that this black heater will evenly distribute heat. What's more, this glass panel allows the heater to have minimal glare, it is easy on the eyes.
This 1500W infrared heater is hardwire-ready and can be wall or ceiling-mounted using the mounting kit that comes with the heater. Once mounted, adjust the angle of the heater to focus the heat in a particular area. It can warm an indoor space up to 85 sq ft and 39 sq ft for an outdoor area. The heat coverage is optimized in mild weather conditions where there are less breeze and moderate temperatures.
IP 65 rated, this heater can be used indoors or outdoors. For outdoor installation, just make sure the junction box cover gasket is installed properly, failure to do so will void the warranty.
All DIR Series heaters are easy to use. After installation, just use the remote control it comes with. With three heat settings, you can easily get the right amount of heat to stay warm and toasty. Purchased the heater for use in my cottage for the winter season. I have always had great luck with the Dimplex brand name, and this unit was no exception. I picked this unit, because it was the 110v version, so I didn’t need to dedicate a 220 breaker. This unit was a pretty quick and straightforward process. The terminals in the back of the unit with an easy access panel. I mounted the unit inside on an inside wall. I got lucky where the wall already had a power outlet box. I just added a stretch of Rome’s from that power box into the heater after I mounted the heater to wall. Simple process that’s very easy to understand, ground to ground, hot to hot, neutral to neutral. The unit operates via both a control panel on the heater, plus a very handy remote control. The unit works fantastic, it heats up quickly and warms up my large 24 x 24 room in a hurry! Takes the chill off within a couple minutes, and the entire room is warm in less than an hour! I would definitely buy another one of these in a heartbeat if I needed another one for another building or room.

My husband recently installed the Dimplex - Indoor/Outdoor Infrared Heater outside on the deck for me. This heater does require a hardwire installation, but with the right knowledge or hired electrician it goes up in a breeze! I get cold so easily so this works perfectly for me. I no longer have to pack on the sweaters to be able to sit on my deck on cooler nights or even days. I can simply grab the remote and turn my heater on and it's like a nice warm day/night for me. My deck is of a decent size and is also raised in the air and even with wind I still feel all the warmth this infrared heater gives off and quickly! I have no complaints the heater is sturdy and well built as well as the bracket it attaches to. It pumps out heat and quickly, plus it comes with a remote control for easy in your seat control!

This indoor/outdoor infrared heater is amazing. Being in New York we get some of the coldest most random weather ever! This has worked great to keep our garage at a decently warm temperature for us to be able to go out there and enjoy it wihout freezing our butts off. The heater is easy to use. Also easy to install. I am very happy with this product!
