The American Made Grills Muscle Hybrid MUS36 is a 36-inch built-in or freestanding grill combining gas cooking with wood and charcoal capability in a bold design.

The Muscle Hybrid pairs #304 stainless steel construction with a front profile influenced by classic automotive styling. Its substantial control panel, illuminated knobs, and stainless steel detailing give the grill a distinctive architectural presence within an outdoor kitchen.

Beyond its appearance, the MUS36 is designed around flexibility. Its hybrid configuration lets you use the convenience of gas burners while also incorporating wood or charcoal when a different cooking approach or flavor profile is preferred.

Designed for More Ways to Cook Outdoors

Patented fuel trays accommodate wood and charcoal above the gas burner system, allowing solid fuels to become part of the cooking setup. The grill also includes reversible V-shaped cooking grates, heat-zone separators, and adjustable hood vents for managing different cooking conditions.

Interior halogen lights illuminate the cooking area, while LED knob lighting improves control visibility. A Flame Thrower ignition system starts the gas burners, and the easy-clean drip system helps simplify routine cleanup after cooking.

Installation Options

The MUS36 can be configured for a built-in outdoor kitchen installation or freestanding use with a compatible cart. Built-in installations should follow the manufacturer's specified cutout dimensions, clearances, gas requirements, and ventilation instructions. The grill is available for Natural Gas or Liquid Propane configurations and requires an electrical connection for its lighting features.

Controls & Features

The Muscle Hybrid uses control knobs for individual gas burner operation, supported by Flame Thrower ignition. Five main burners are rated at 22,000 BTU each for 110,000 total BTU, while adjustable hood vents and heat-zone separators provide additional ways to manage cooking temperatures.

For solid-fuel cooking, the patented fuel trays accommodate wood or charcoal within the hybrid system. Reversible V-shaped cooking grates provide two cooking surfaces, while interior halogen lights and LED-illuminated knobs support visibility around the grill.
