Recommendations:

When installing the heater on the ceiling, the heater cannot be installed facing directly down. The ideal location would be at one side of the area and the heater should be mounted at a 38 to 70-degree angle to concentrate the heat towards the center of your patio space.

Installation must be done by a contractor qualified in the installation and service of electric heating equipment.

For effective patio heating, the gap between heaters must be the same as their mounting height for even heat coverage. In areas that are below 40ºF, consider spacing them half the distance as their mounting height.
