The IR Energy Habanero is a 47-inch wall or ceiling mounted natural gas patio heater featuring a powerful triple-surface ceramic burner for consistent radiant warmth.
Built for Demanding Commercial Environments
Designed for indoor and outdoor commercial settings, the Habanero delivers strong radiant heat without occupying valuable floor space. In residential applications, it must be installed outdoors only.
Available in black powder-coated marine grade aluminum or commercial grade 304 brushed stainless steel, the housing is engineered to resist corrosion, including saltwater environments.
Efficient Radiant Performance with Ceramic Burner Technology
The triple-surface ceramic burner and polished heat reflector are designed to project consistent heat across a wide area. With output levels of 42,000 BTUs (Low) and 50,000 BTUs (High), the heater can warm areas up to approximately 8 x 22 feet.
The pre-mixed combustion chamber is engineered to optimize fuel use, while high-grid technology helps reduce heat loss. A wind guard helps maintain performance in breezy conditions.
Installation Options
The Habanero mounts to a wall or ceiling and can be angled between 0° and 30° to direct heat where needed. It requires only 3 inches of top clearance, offering flexible placement in covered areas.
The unit must be professionally wired and requires a transformer and control switch for operation. Natural gas connection is integrated internally for a streamlined appearance without visible propane tanks.
Controls & Operational Features
The heater includes Hi/Lo/Off dual heat output controls to manage energy use. Electronic ignition supports reliable startup.
With no blower system, operation remains quieter than forced-air alternatives. The self-diagnostic potted module is designed for resistance to shock and vibration in commercial environments.
