It's either your heater is too close or too far away when mounting it on the walls or ceilings of a high-ceiling room.

Unlike heaters that can only be wall or ceiling mounted, the Infratech C and CD Heaters also offer a Drop Pole Mount Installation to save you from the woes of installing it on high ceilings.
The Drop Pole Mounting Kit has an adjustable length from 29" to 72", so spaces with high or vaulted ceilings no longer need to compromise comfort for style. You can still achieve a minimal look as the heater conduit is hidden within the pole shaft. It is available in 3 colors to blend with your decor- White, Black, and Bronze.
Mounting your unit above 12 ft is great for providing ambient heat to a wider area. More warmth is felt with a lower mount. It may also be rotated to angle the heat correctly from any sloped or uneven ceiling.
