The Superior DRT4200 Series Direct Vent Gas Fireplace is an indoor liquid propane or natural gas fireplace designed for direct vent installation, featuring electronic ignition, interior lighting, and a factory-installed blower.
Full-Size Firebox with Refined Detail
Available in 40" and 45" models, the DRT4200 Series offers a full-size 21" deep firebox that allows for a larger log arrangement and more expansive interior presentation. High-definition ceramic fiber logs rest on a heavy-duty grate, creating a detailed and balanced flame display.
A required façade selection includes either a Vista inside fit or a decorative overlap fit option, each equipped with a protective screen barrier. Interior selections are also required and include black reflective porcelain or ceramic fiber liners for a tailored look.
Advanced Comfort and Customization
Electronic IPI/CPI ignition comes standard with seamless battery backup to support operation during power interruptions. Ceramic glass improves heat transfer, and the factory-installed blower features six speed settings to fine-tune airflow.
Interior illumination includes six distinctive lighting settings to enhance ambiance. A full-function remote control is included, allowing control of ignition mode, thermostat, flame height, blower speed, and lighting adjustments.
Installation Options
The DRT4200 Series uses a top flue configuration for direct vent installation. As a sealed combustion system, it draws outside air for combustion and vents exhaust outdoors.
With its full-size 21" depth, the fireplace provides a larger interior presence suited for more expansive room designs. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper venting, gas connection, and compliance with local building codes and manufacturer guidelines.
Controls & Features
This series includes electronic ignition with a standard IPI/CPI switch and integrated battery backup. The included remote control allows adjustment of thermostat settings, flame height, blower speed, and interior lighting from one device.
Standard features include ceramic glass, a high-definition log set with a heavy-duty grate, interior lighting, black painted exterior finish, and a durable textured powder coat. Required façade and liner options allow for further customization of the final appearance.
