The large viewing area is protected by tinted glass that helps minimize reflections, keeping the flame presentation visible even in bright environments. This makes the fireplace suitable for living rooms, feature walls, or commercial spaces where the fire display should remain clear from multiple angles.

Custom Media and Ambiance Options

Napoleon designed the Astound Flexmount to make visual customization simple. The fireplace includes Beach Fire and Woodland log media kits, and the removable access allows decorative elements to be changed easily.

Additional optional media sets such as birch logs, mineral rock, or glass beads provide further flexibility for homeowners who want to tailor the fireplace appearance to match their interior design.

Installation Options

The Napoleon Astound Flexmount supports multiple installation styles, allowing it to adapt to different room designs.

Installation options include:

• Wall-mounted installation for quick surface mounting
• Partially recessed installation for a three-sided viewing configuration
• Fully recessed installation supporting one-sided, two-sided, or three-sided presentation

Because the fireplace operates on electric power, no venting or gas connections are required. Heat is projected directly into the room, making the unit suitable for both residential and commercial applications where venting is impractical.

Controls & Features

The Astound Flexmount provides several ways to control fireplace operation. Users can adjust settings through the Napoleon Home mobile app via WiFi, voice commands using Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, or the included handheld remote.

Flame visuals combine color-adjustable flames with spark technology, helping create a natural fire effect. The large viewing area enhances the appearance of the flame display.

Heating performance includes two operating modes:

• ECO Mode for reduced heat output and energy use
• BOOST Mode which increases blower speed to provide stronger heating when needed
