Modern Flames Landscape Pro Electric Fireplaces

Modern Flames Landscape Pro electric fireplaces are the brand's linear built-in series, rated for indoor and outdoor installation. Two units differ mainly in depth, and a set of cabinets removes the need to frame a wall at all.

Slim or Multi, decided by your wall

Slim is 5.5 inches deep and single-sided, and it fully recesses into standard 2x6 framing. That is the practical reason it exists: it goes into an ordinary wall with no furring out and no rebuild. Best for a straight run where the fireplace is one face.

Multi is 11.5 inches deep and configures as single-sided, left corner, right corner or three-sided bay, across a wide range of widths. Best for a fireplace that turns a corner, opens on more than one side, or has to be longer than the Slim goes.

Both are hardwired and neither needs venting, so the install is framing plus an electrician either way.

The flame is adjustable in three parts

Hybrid-FX lets you set the flame color, the ember bed and the downlight independently, which is more control than most electric fireplaces give you. It is also the practical reason these read as realistic: you tune the fire to the room's light rather than accepting one factory look.

Two ways to skip building a wall

The Multi is deep enough that a full recess means a purpose-built or furred-out wall. If that is not on the table, there are two routes that avoid it.

Wall mount with floating mantels carries the fireplace on the wall surface, with the mantels finishing it above and below so it reads as built in rather than hung.

The matching cabinets do the same job as a finished enclosure, turning the built-in unit into a freestanding piece.

The cabinets are the no-framing option

The matching cabinets are built for the Landscape Pro Multi and turn it into a finished freestanding piece. If opening a wall is not on the table, that is the route, and it is why the cabinets sit in this collection rather than under accessories.

Outdoor rating, and what it is worth

Both units are rated for covered outdoor installation. What that gets you is the look, because an electric fireplace heats by warming air and outdoors the air moves on. For heat people actually feel on a patio, patio heaters radiate directly to whoever is sitting there. The pairing, fireplace as the focal point and heaters overhead, is what keeps people outside after dark.
