The American Made Grills Ovation 42 Hybrid is a built-in gas and solid-fuel grill pairing multi-fuel flexibility with a refined, architectural stainless steel design.

A Balanced Centerpiece for the Outdoor Kitchen

The Ovation 42 brings a cleaner, more architectural expression to AMG's Hybrid platform. Its Estate-inspired front profile, full-width stainless steel hood handle, and balanced proportions create a polished appearance designed to integrate naturally with custom outdoor cabinetry.

At 42 inches, the grill offers more room than the 36-inch Ovation while maintaining the same streamlined design language. Its #304 stainless steel construction extends across the exterior and key cooking components for a cohesive stainless steel finish.

More Cooking Space with Multiple Fuel Options

The 42-inch platform provides 1,315 square inches of total cooking surface, offering room to manage multiple foods and cooking zones. Six main burners rated at 22,000 BTU each provide 132,000 total BTU.

Patented fuel trays expand the cooking system beyond Natural Gas or Liquid Propane by accommodating charcoal, hardwood, wood chunks, wood logs, and other manufacturer-supported solid fuels. Reversible V-shaped cooking grates and heat-zone separators help organize the expanded cooking surface for different preparations.

Installation Options

The OVA42 is designed for built-in outdoor kitchen installation. The grill should be installed according to American Made Grills requirements for island cutout dimensions, clearances, ventilation, gas supply, and electrical connections.

Controls & Features

Six 22,000 BTU main burners provide a combined 132,000 BTU output. Flame Thrower ignition starts the gas burners, while adjustable hood vents provide another way to manage heat and airflow beneath the hood.

Reversible 9-gauge V-shaped cooking grates sit above AMG's patented solid-fuel trays. #304 stainless steel heat-zone separators divide the cooking area, while interior halogen lights illuminate the grill surface and individual LED lights improve visibility above each control knob.

The double-lined hood includes spring assistance for operation, while an easy-clean drip pan with a drain system collects cooking residue beneath the grill. Built-in storage is also provided for the rotisserie spit.
