The American Made Grills Encore 36 Hybrid is a built-in outdoor grill combining gas, wood, and charcoal cooking with a streamlined #304 stainless steel design.

Clean Lines for a Contemporary Outdoor Kitchen

The Encore takes a more streamlined approach to AMG's Hybrid platform, pairing a clean stainless steel exterior with a full-width hood handle and double-lined hood. Its understated profile allows the cooking station to integrate naturally into contemporary outdoor cabinetry and countertops.

Its 36-inch format provides 1,106 square inches of total cooking surface, giving the grill substantial cooking capacity without requiring the footprint of AMG's larger Hybrid models. Five main burners produce 110,000 total BTU, with heat-zone separators helping organize the surface for different cooking conditions.

One Grill for Gas, Wood, and Charcoal Cooking

The Hybrid system expands the Encore beyond conventional gas grilling. Patented fuel trays sit beneath the cooking grates and accommodate wood and charcoal, allowing solid fuels to be incorporated into the cooking setup alongside the gas burners.

AMG's system can also use the gas burners to start solid fuels. Once the wood or charcoal is burning, the gas can be switched off for cooking entirely over the solid fuel.

Installation Options

The ENC36 is designed for built-in outdoor kitchen installation and is available in Natural Gas and Liquid Propane configurations. Installation should follow AMG's specified cutout dimensions, ventilation, clearances, gas connections, and electrical requirements.

Controls & Features

Five main burners are rated at 22,000 BTU each, providing 110,000 total BTU. Flame Thrower ignition handles gas-burner startup, while adjustable hood vents and heat-zone separators provide additional control over cooking conditions.

Reversible 9-gauge V-shaped cooking grates provide the cooking surface above AMG's patented fuel trays. Interior halogen lights illuminate the grill area, while individual LED lights over the control knobs improve visibility around the controls.
