The Olympus That Hides the Propane Tank Inside the Table

This is the propane-only version of the Olympus Rectangular, cast 24 inches tall instead of 18 so the base can hold the tank behind an access door. It comes in 60 and 72 inch lengths in glass fiber reinforced concrete. No gas line to run, no tank sitting beside the table.

Six Inches Taller, Because the Tank Lives in the Base

The extra height is the whole point. The 18 inch Olympus cannot have a tank underneath it, so on propane it needs one placed alongside. Here the tank goes inside, and the controls sit on the table.

The Color Is Dyed Through the Concrete, Then Sealed in UV Resistant Paint

Grand Canyon casts these tables in the U.S., dyes the color through the concrete, and seals them in a high temperature, UV resistant paint. The burner has a thermocouple safety shutoff, which cuts the gas if the flame goes out.

Best for Patios Without a Natural Gas Line

If running natural gas to the patio is not an option, this is the Olympus to buy. Plan for the weight all the same: about 390 lbs at 60 inches and 440 at 72. For a lower, seated height on a natural gas line, the 18 inch Olympus Rectangular is the better fit.

Keep It Covered, or the Warranty Will Not Cover It

• A cover is a warranty condition. Grand Canyon requires GFRC tables to be covered when not in use, to prevent efflorescence.
• Do not light it in high wind. Flame on the concrete can crack and discolor it. A glass wind guard helps on a breezy evening.
• Set it on a solid surface such as pavers or concrete, never grass or dirt.
• The propane tank is not included.
