The Tyler 670 uses a low-profile design to frame the fireplace without adding excessive visual weight. Its straight lines and painted surface work well with traditional, transitional, and contemporary interiors.
Available in white or black, the shelf can create either a light, understated feature or a stronger contrast against the fireplace wall. Each version arrives painted, assembled, and ready for installation.
Three Widths with Consistent Proportions
Choose from 60-inch, 72-inch, and 84-inch widths to suit different fireplace and wall layouts. Every size maintains the same 8-inch depth and 4-inch height for a consistent appearance across the collection.
The MDF construction provides a practical alternative to heavier stone mantels and more expensive natural wood designs while retaining the look of a finished architectural shelf.
Installation Options
The Tyler 670 mounts to the wall using the included hanger board. The mounting surface must be structurally capable of supporting the shelf and any decorative objects placed on it.
Wall screws, anchors, and structural blocking are not included. The installer must select fasteners that are suitable for the wall material and construction.
No electrical connection, fuel supply, venting, or fireplace framing is required for the shelf itself. Because MDF is combustible, installation height and clearances must follow the fireplace manufacturer’s instructions, local codes, and applicable building requirements.
