The Lexington Hearth Commonwealth Collection Color Sample is a 4 by 4-inch piece of the composite wood veneer used for the wood mantels, in Honey Oak Stain, Cherry Stain, Luna White Paint or Unfinished.

What you get, and how the cost comes back

One sample in the finish you choose, covering all eight wood mantels: Cumberland, Kenton, Madison, Pendleton, Woodford, Classic, Federal and Horizon. The Unfinished sample is the useful one if you plan to stain or paint the mantel yourself, because you can test your own color on it rather than on the mantel. What you pay for the sample is credited back when you order.
