The Steel High version is designed as a freestanding fireplace with a steel base that supports the dome. Le Feu notes that freestanding fireplaces can be placed on legs or on a steel base, depending on the configuration.

Installation Options

The Le Feu Dome Steel High is a freestanding fireplace and does not require wall framing, venting, hardwiring, or gas plumbing. Place it on a stable, level surface with proper clearance from furniture, walls, curtains, and other combustible materials.

The steel pole and round base support the dome, so no ceiling or wall mounting is required. For covered outdoor use, follow supplier guidance and protect the fireplace when not in use.

Controls & Features

The Dome Steel High uses a manual ethanol burner. Fuel is added directly to the burner according to the user manual, then lit manually.

There are no remote controls, electrical switches, fans, or gas valves. The real flame is created by ethanol fuel, producing warmth and ambiance without soot or ash when operated correctly.
