The DLW electric heater produces radiant heat, which heats objects and people rather than the air. The DLW heater must be installed in such a way that objects and people are within the direct heat area of the heater.
Position the heater directly above the area to be heated, with an ideal mounting height of 96" to 105". For ceiling heights taller than 105", installation with extension poles (sold separately) is recommended. In optimal conditions, these units can heat up to 60 sq. ft. in an outdoor enclosed area or up to 78 sq. ft. indoors.
