The Fire Magic Aurora A830i Combo is a 52-inch built-in charcoal and gas grill for natural gas or propane, combining gas control with charcoal cooking in one unit.

The Aurora A830i Combo gives outdoor kitchens two distinct cooking methods in one built-in grill. The gas side is designed for controlled burner cooking, while the charcoal side supports traditional charcoal grilling.
This layout is a strong fit for homeowners who want a complete cooking station without installing separate gas and charcoal appliances. Its stainless steel construction and clean built-in profile help create a polished, permanent outdoor kitchen setup.
Designed for Control, Visibility, and Roasting
The gas side includes cast stainless steel E burners, heavy-duty Diamond Sear cooking grids, stainless steel zone flavor grids, and a push-to-light hot surface electric ignition system with flash tubes. Halogen 12-volt internal oven lamps and back-lit knobs improve visibility during evening cooking.
The charcoal side is ignited by a 26,000 BTU gas burner, helping simplify startup. A recessed rotisserie backburner and rotisserie kit add another cooking method for roasting applications.
Installation Options
The Fire Magic Aurora A830i Combo is designed for built-in installation in an outdoor kitchen island or grill enclosure.
The required cutout dimensions are 50 1/4 inches wide by 19 1/2 inches deep by 11 1/2 inches high. Installation should follow the manufacturer’s manual for gas type, electrical connection, ventilation, clearances, and enclosure construction.
This grill is available for natural gas or propane configurations. Professional installation is recommended for gas connections, electrical power, and built-in island preparation.
Controls & Features
The gas side uses a push-to-light hot surface electric ignition system with flash tubes for burner ignition. The gourmet control panel includes brushed trim and polished back-lit knobs for improved visibility and a finished, built-in appearance.
The charcoal section uses a 26,000 BTU gas burner to ignite the charcoal. This supports an easier startup compared with manually lighting charcoal.
The grill includes an angled analog thermometer in the lid that measures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. A seamless double-wall 90-degree hood with Feather-Lite Easy Lift design supports smoother opening and closing during use.
