If you want to have one built into your wall, the Touchstone Sideline Elite is a great choice. It allows a full recess into a 2x6 wall, which is the typical size of wall framings. But for revamping an old fireplace, the Redstone Electric Fireplace Insert is ideal.
Then finally, choose a mantel that fits your style. It's important to choose one that sets the right tone for your traditional, modern, rustic, or transitional space. Most of our mantels are "wall mounted" through a cleat or hanging board.
