What a nice addition to any room. Because we do not have a fire place in our home and I could not find an electric furniture fire place that would work for us. I took an existing closed cabinet and converted it, Tiled the front and set this fire place insert into the opening. It is so relaxing to watch the flames, they are very realistic we are loving it

Pleasantly surprised. I researched online different electric log inserts, looking for one that was economical and looked as realistic as possible with heat. I doubted an insert that costs this little could be what I wanted, but my husband told me to order it, try it and if we didn't like it, we could send it back. Well, it came yesterday, he opened the box, sat it in the fireplace and plugged it in. After about 30 minutes we had to turn it off because it was heating our den too much on high. Texas doesn't get a lot of cold weather, but this unit will definitely work well for the days we do. Looks great too. I highly recommend this Dimplex model for anyone who doesn't want to invest lots of money to get the same effect.
