The 18\/24-inch burner needs a firebox at least 28 inches wide at the front, 18 1\/2 inches at the back, 13 1\/2 inches deep and 16 inches tall; the 30-inch needs 34 inches at the front and 24 1\/2 at the back, with the same depth and height. Glass doors whose frame rises up to 3 inches off the hearth push the minimum depth to 15 inches, and the doors must be fully open whenever it runs.
